Applying our accrued experience in metabolic engineering research, we decided to contribute to more people's health by developing the Human Milk Oligosaccharide manufacturing technology and bringing the beneficial ingredient to more people's lives.

HMO is not from human milk? How is it made?
Since its discovery, HMO could only be found in breast milk. Each HMO particle was so complex in its chemical structure that it took many years of R&D to be able to recreate. AP Technologies was one of the first amongst Biotechnology companies to be able to achieve such a feat.
Decades of research finally led to the successful recreation of HMO found in breast milk in high purity. As a leader in the biotechnology field and an expert in fermentation and purification, AP Technologies found a way to produce HMO through fermentation.
